Our Chairman and Treasurer Barbara Ward has decided that the time is right for her to retire from the club to spend more time with her family and dogs. Barbara has been a member, committee member, and officer for as long as most can remember, and the committee would like to send their thanks for the countless years of dedicated service to the society and dogs in general. It has been said on more than one occasion that Barbara steered the club through some rough waters and has left the society in good hands and a healthy condition.
The committee behind the society may change from time to time, however our classes and support for members and their dogs will not change. We are a society made up of our members – every committee member, officer, and instructor is a volunteer and they give their time freely to support the goal of promoting responsible dog ownership and enriching the lives of dogs and their owners.
If you would like to help and join our small committee, please get in touch – without a committee there is no society and your support now is needed more than ever and it is not a time hungry role – so just help out when you can.
Once again, we would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Barbara, her husband Peter who himself has provided years of support to the society and wish them well for the future.
